Provided that the instructions in the user manual are followed and that no maintenance, repair or other intervention for any reason is carried out by anyone other than the services authorised by Boğaziçi Makina, the warranty covers the product in full, including all of its parts, against material, workmanship and manufacturing defects, starting from the delivery date of the product.
The warranty period starts from the delivery date of the product and is 2 years. If the product fails within the warranty period, the time spent on repair is added to the warranty period. The maximum repair time is 30 working days. This period starts from the date the fault is reported to the service centre or, where there is no service centre, to the seller, dealer or manufacturer of the product.
Faults may be repaired at the location of the product or at authorised service workshops. The determination of the technical methods to be applied to remedy the fault and of the parts to be replaced rests entirely with Boğaziçi Makina.
For any problems that may arise regarding the warranty certificate, you may apply to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, General Directorate for the Protection of Competition. Presentation of this certificate is mandatory for the machine to be serviced under warranty in the event of a fault. Please keep it carefully.
The motor and capacitor are not covered by the warranty in case of a drop in mains current or high voltage.
If the product fails within the warranty period due to material, workmanship or assembly defects, it will be repaired without charging any labour costs, replaced part costs or any other fee under any name.
Even if the consumer exercises the right to repair, provided it is within the warranty period from the date the product was delivered to the consumer: if the same fault recurs more than twice or different faults recur more than four times within one year, or the total number of different faults exceeds six, making the product permanently unusable; if the maximum time required for repair is exceeded; or if a report issued by the company’s service centre or, where there is none, by its seller, dealer, importer or manufacturer establishes that the fault cannot be repaired, the consumer may request replacement of the product, a refund, or a price reduction proportional to the defect.
